Suzy came to me wanting a logo designing and a website for an online stationery shop that she was setting up. She had a vague idea of the style that she wanted but that was about it, we had a good chat and a trip over to Pinterest to create a mood board of styles, colours and images that she liked and we were soon away! When the final logo was decided on I came up with a colour pallette and developed the brand through to her website and business stationery.

I knew Michele at school but hadn’t been in touch with her for over 15 years (other than a Facebook connection) when I decided to set up an online stationery store and needed a website. I’d seen that Michele was a graphic designer and asked her if she could help me. It was absolutely the the best thing I could have done. Not only did I find Michele to be the lovely, kind, helpful person I remember from school, she was professional, polite, courteous and did an amazing job designing both my shop logo and my website.
I must have been a terrible client – I gave her a very vague brief and didn’t really know what I wanted the website to look like. But Michele captured the heart of my idea. I used terms like “cottage insustry”, “shaker style”, “pretty but not overtly girly” and I think she absolutely delivered. The logo is unique and pretty and has been admired lots.She got the website up and running really quickly, clearly spending a lot of time making sure she got it just right for me, and she thought about lots of functionality that I didn’t realise I needed but could not do without. A real godsend. Michele went above and beyond, being available on the phone when I didn’t know how to operate WordPress, helping when I was stuck, giving me tips where to find certain functionality etc.She helped setting up cloud flare for me, even calling the website hosts when I didn’t know quite how to explain what the technical problem we had was.
The website itself is really functional, logical for customers to use, easy to navigate and looks brilliant. I regularly get really positive comments about the website: “how amazing to find such a great website…I will be recommending you to all”, “I love your shop”, “Just found your shop and love it”.
Michele’s expertise and advice was invaluable and with it I re-gained a friend. We’ve still not met in person but I’d like to think we have renewed our friendship. I’d recommend her to anyone wanting a really personal service – she did a really wonderful job.
